Book Collection Volume I : Two Tennyson Books

An idyll poem, or simply an idyll, is a poem that depicts a peaceful, picturesque, and often idealized scene or experience, usually in a rural setting. It often portrays a romanticized view of country life, focusing on simple pleasures and natural beauty. 

I found both of these Idylls of the King books at my local library book shop. Both books contain a collection of Tennyson’s Arthurian poems. I am quite fond of Tennyson’s poetry and have an ever growing collection of copies of his works!
