A4 Springback Binder : Leuchtturm1917

I can’t believe I didn’t know that springback binders are still a thing!

I remember using them as a kid for school projects and keeping assignments organized, but I can’t think of seeing them anywhere since! Somewhere in the back of my head, springback binders were just another analog item lost to the 90s.

I came across this one from Leuchttrum1917 in an A4 size, and thought it would be perfect to organize some of my loose leaf piles. I love working with loose leaf paper, it is my preferred way to write, but notebooks are initially more practical.

To load pages you pull both covers back until the spine opens. Insert the desired pages and let the covers gently come back to the front.

The papers stay in by pressure from the “spring binding.” and clamp down on the pages

I think this is going to be great for my typing pages or even my loose leaf writing pages. After playing with the Tomoe River Paper in the binder for a while, I think I would even use it as a notebook! The boards are quite sturdy and make a nice writing surface.

Have you used a springback binder in this century?
