Favorite Quotes Journal : Soothi Leather Journal Review
This was a “facebook made me buy it” moment! I kept seeing these leather journals from “Soothi” being advertised and found the covers to be so pretty that I wanted to try one. I knew the paper was going to have a handmade quality and so probably wouldn’t be the best for fountain pens.

After receiving my order and looking over the journal, I do love the cover. The stamping is attractive and I like the simplicity of the soft leather. The paper is a handmade paper and isn’t the easiest to write on. I decided to use one of the journals for a “Favorite Quotes” journal. I wanted it to be a quick project. Something I could finish in a day and have quotes collected in one place for me to leave on the coffee table.

After finishing this little quote journal I’ve left it on my coffee table, taken it to work, had it by my nightstand and look though it often. I’ve had fancier notebooks that I’ve spent more time on that I never pick up again. This little one I spent so little time on has been a companion!
I think these Soothi journals would be a nice gift either left blank or filled with favorite quotes. Just know that the paper quality doesn’t allow for easy fountain pen writing.
