Serpentine Blooms Fountain Pen Ink : Ferris Wheel Press

Happy New Year everyone!

To kick off another year of fountain pen ink I have “Serpentine Blooms” shimmer ink. This is Ferris Wheel Press’ latest ink release for the new year and is in honor of the year of the snake.

I personally have a major phobia of snakes so even though I know the artwork is pretty, it’s not a personal favorite!

Serpentine Blooms is an orchid pink with what is supposed to be green shimmer. This shimmer has a unique quality with the green color. It shows up silvery, gold, and green depending on the saturation of the shimmer and how long it has been drying. I love the consistency in the flow of this ink. It lays down well and feels fluid with my pen’s strokes.

This ink behaved very well with no bleed through on both the Tomoe River Paper and The Onion Skin Journal.

This is a lovely orchid pink leaning towards purple. It still reads like a pink fountain pen ink to me.

This fountain pen ink is dark enough to use as an everyday ink and the iridescent shimmer is an added bonus!

Did I Mention that Ferris Wheel Press has a Rewards Program?

I received free points just for signing up for the FWP loyalty program! It’s free to join, and there are so many ways to earn rewards! I’ve been using my points for gift cards so I can choose from the entire Ferris Wheel Press store for my free fountain pen goodies!
