Lores of the Loch Fountain Pen Ink : Ferris Wheel Press
Lores of the Loch is the latest addition to the Ferris Wheel Press “FerriTales” fountain pen ink collection.
This is a green ink with rose gold shimmer reminiscent of the legendary images of the Loch Ness Monster.
We have our own version of The Loch Ness here called “Chessie.” The Chesapeake Bay cousin of the Loch Ness! Chessie is more muddy colored but I am loving this vivid green color.
The illustrations for the packaging are so cute. I love the “catfish” on the top of the box!
Ferris Wheel Press has added the full name and product number to the bottom label of the 20ml bottles. This is so incredibly helpful! I do wish there was a more permanent labeling but I am glad for this! The sticker doesn’t fit in the top circle of the cap any longer but that’s okay! I might be able to cut it down. Sticking the sticker on top of the cap is helpful for easy identification.

I used the new Shuttle dip pen from Colorverse to test this ink and found the flow to be lovely. The ink is in the wet side without being watery. The dip pen allowed for a lot of variation in hue. I like this ink and think it would be nice in my Stellar Black Hole pen!
I used three different papers to test the attributes of the ink. The Onion Skin Journal, Nebula Note Tomoe River Paper, and Endless Tear-away notepad. The green ink really pops on all three paper types. The rose gold shimmer adds stunning depth to this ink.
