The Raven, Forevermore : Noodler’s Ink

This is an Edgar Allan Poe themed ink called from Noodler’s Ink called “The Raven, Forevermore.”

I’m from Virginia, and as a Virginian I had to learn a lot about Poe growing up! I have to admit, not much stuck with me in regards to Poe. His stories of grand despair never rang true for me and just seemed too over-the-top. I didn’t buy into it and as result, ignored him as an author for years. It was recently found that Poe’s publicist came up with most of the crazier tales to sell his work! After that realization what I had thought of him and his writing clicked more for me and I have been reading more of his publications as result!

Getting to the ink…After a writing sample, I was impressed by how much I like this black! The attributes are “bullet-proof” and “eternal.” This ink struck me as being quite elegant in depth and coloring. It draws me in, a little romantic perhaps. This is in the running along with “Texas Black Bat” to maybe overtake “Dark Matter” as my favorite black fountain pen ink! I really don’t want to make an exclusive my favorite, but the inky heart wants what it wants!

(Since reviewing this ink it seems to have gone out of production! I hope we see it again in future!)
