Plaited Gold Tress Fountain Pen Ink : Ferris Wheel Press
Continuing with my current gold ink obsession this is Plaited Gold Tress from Ferris Wheel Press. This fountain pen ink is from the “FerriTales” collection. I have quite a collection of these miniature inks now. The “FerriTales” collection are miniature bottles of ink with themes from classic fairy tales. They are such a nice size for collecting. Plaited Gold Tress is a lovely warm orangey base with gold AND green shimmer! The shimmer shows up very nicely. This ink still writes very light with my BENU Euphoria Vodka on the Rocks fountain pen with a broad nib. However, the dip pen was darker.
I think it the ink is probably a little light for me personally as an everyday writer. I will be using it for some pretty writing and journaling that is for sure!
The consistency of the ink is nice and a little on the wet side. I used Tomoe River Paper, Endless Paper, Onion Skin Journal, & Flex Book for the swatching samples.
I think the packaging matches my hair color (and maybe even my cats?!) I’ll have to put it to the test sometime!
This is a great ink for highlighting more spooky writing and images for the fall season! I continue to love Ferris Wheel Press shimmer inks! They really do add a little bit of fun to my everyday writing.
