Sparkling Champagne Fountain Pen Ink : Ferris Wheel Press
I bought the large 85ml bottle of “Sparkling Champagne” fountain pen ink from Ferris Wheel Press. This ink was on closeout when I purchased so if you’re interested, run don’t walk! I think this bottle is actually my first Ferris Wheel Press ink in the larger size. The packaging is so luxurious. The rounded box is beautiful, and the ink is resting in a velvety drawstring bag. I appreciate how giftable Ferris Wheel Press products are.

The ink is a lovely pale yellow that is more wet in consistency. The shimmer is definitely there but more difficult to see, as it matches the color of the ink so well. I love the spatters were the ink is pooled more, showing off the warmer amber tones.

I have been wanting to revisit gold fountain pen inks lately, and have been tempted by the different ones Ferris Wheel Press has to offer. I decided to use my loyalty points for a gift card to buy the ones I wanted to try the most! The Loyalty Program is free to signup use and I received free points just for signing up! They can be turned in for exclusive products or gifts cards. Feel free to use my affiliate link below to check it out.

I used my Sailor Pro Gear “Stellar Black Hole” (aka Captain Kirk) fountain pen with a zoom nib for the sample. As well as a J. Herbin glass dip pen in emerald. I used Tomoe River Paper, Onion Skin Journal, Endless Tear-Away, and Flex Book for the writing samples. As per usual the Tomoe River Paper showed the color as the most vibrant. The Endless Paper showed off the shimmer quite well but inks look duller. The Onion Skin Journal looks lovely and the ink spreads a little more. And the Flex Book paper showed the darker amber tones.
