Costco Cart for Fountain Pen Storage! Unboxing & Put Together
I decided to buy this Mesh Costco Cart to use to help get my fountain pen/hobby organization under control! In this video I unbox and put together the Mesh Costco Cart. If you are not needing to see the incredibly easy process of putting this cart together, feel free to fast-forward to see the end result.
I take my hobby supplies up and down the stairs and in and out of different rooms constantly. I tend to have small piles of supplies and filming gear strewn all over the place lately, and I have been looking for something that would make taking things around and putting them back more efficient.

The drawers on this cart come completely out so I can group together what I need and take it from room to room. This is hopefully going to help me get everything I need in one go, and keep it together as I need it!
The cart has a set of castors (so, feet that roll) and a stationary set of feet so you can choose which ones work best for the situation. I went with the castors to see how I like it in my space.
The top is sturdy with a grayed faux-wood finish that would go very well with most home finishes.

After getting the cart together and trying it out I like the function. It is sturdy and the drawers are easy to take in and out. I even think that it could be used as a mini desk in a pinch! Just take out the bottom couple of drawers and pull up to the sofa!
I will say that the drawers can go in and out both the front and back so be careful as you’re sliding them in. If the cart is backed against a wall this probably isn’t a problem. I think the back pieces could be easily wedged with something if it is a major concern.

I think this is going to work for me! I would have loved to find something vintage that would fit in with my personal style a little more but at around $55.00 it seemed like a good choice. It can also migrate to my laundry room at a later date!
