Stellar Black Hole a.k.a. Captain Kirk Pen

My very first fountain pen video was about my Sailor Pro Gear “Stellar Black Hole” fountain pen in which it was granted the nickname of “Captain Kirk.” I shot the video with my bendy arm tripod wrapped around the top of my great-grandparents wooden folding chair being counterweighted and held to the right height by a stack of 5 or so plastic tubs filled strategically with fabrics! I still had a shadow to deal with but the lighting was the best possible I could achieve! I still think that setup (even though impossibly impractical) was in fact the best lighting I’ve had! I finally had to call it quits as it took up half of a room.

I was incredibly nervous to start this venture. Not because I feared being liked or not liked, but because I have never enjoyed the social media “limelight” and had no desire for my time to be used by it. I have found that I have enjoyed interacting with the lovely people who enjoy sharing our hobbies and hope to continue doing so!

The Captain Kirk pen has been a channel favorite along with the Vanishing Point in Stripes. I’m not planning on being a fountain pen expert. I’m hoping that the “lifestyle fountain pen user” is content that people will still enjoy. I love the comments telling me what you like and what you’ve bought. They have been incredibly encouraging.
